Preparation and Cooking

  1. Making the Chicken Salad

For the drier sauce: Sauté the onion in butter and olive oil, add the tomato sauce to make a traditional filling sauce. Mix in the seasoned shredded chicken breast, grated carrot, olives, one can of corn, and peas. Reserve. Blend the other can of corn (drained) with the sour cream in a blender until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  2. Assembly and Baking

Add half of the corn cream and the raisins to the reserved chicken salad. Grease a baking dish with butter. Place the chicken salad in the dish and top with mozzarella. Pour the remaining corn cream over it. Cover with a bit more mozzarella. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes until browned (the time depends on the oven's power). Serve with a nice green salad on the side!
