Fry the garlic in oil, sauté the onion and leeks, then add the tomatoes, chopped hearts of palm, mushrooms, salt, pepper, and seasonings. Cook well. Add the chopped parsley or cilantro. Mix the cornstarch diluted in milk and let it become creamy. Set aside.
