Ingredients for Hearts of Palm Cream
    Main Ingredients
  • 6.3 cups milk
  • 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cups butter
  • 1 unit small onion (finely chopped)
  • 6 leaves bay leaves
  • 12 units cloves
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 10 units white peppercorns
  • to taste salt
  • 2 cans canned hearts of palm, chopped
  • 0.25 cups heavy cream

    Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the base

    Melt the butter and mix in the flour until a roux forms. Boil the milk with the onion, bay leaves, cloves, nutmeg, and white peppercorns.

  2. Combine and cook
  3. Finish the dish

    Gradually mix with the roux and cook. Add 1.5 cans of hearts of palm and cook for 5 minutes. Blend the cream mixture in a blender and then return it to the heat. Season with salt to taste. Finish with the remaining 0.5 can of chopped hearts of palm and 0.25 cup of heavy cream.
