  1. Creating the Dough

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix the warm water (120 milliliters) with the yeast and brown sugar. Let it sit for 15 minutes or until frothy. In another bowl, mix the flour with the salt and make a well in the center. Add the olive oil, the yeast mixture, and the warm water (480 milliliters) into the well. Mix well until a smooth dough forms. Knead for 4 to 5 minutes on a floured surface. Form a ball and let it rise for 1 hour and 30 minutes until it doubles in size. Knead for 2 minutes. On a floured surface, roll out the dough. Using your hands, spread the dough to the edges of the greased baking sheet. Add tomato sauce on top of the dough and fill with your choice of toppings.
