Ingredients for Pumpkin Purée
    Main Ingredients
  • 1/3 unit pumpkin (peeled and diced)
  • 1 teaspoon green banana biomass (thawed if frozen)
  • 1/4 unit cauliflower (broken into florets)
  • 1 unit red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 drizzle olive oil (for sautéing)
  • to taste unit parsley (chopped)
  • 3 units garlic cloves (minced)
  • to taste unit leek (sliced)
  • 2 small pieces ginger slices (fresh)
  • a pinch unit pink salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lactose-free or light cream cheese (for creaminess)
Instructions
    Cooking Steps
  1. Prepare the Pumpkins and Cauliflower

In a saucepan, cook the pumpkin until al dente, and do the same with the cauliflower. Once they are ready, add the green banana biomass. If the biomass is frozen, microwave it for a few seconds and drizzle hot water to thaw.

  2. Blend the Mixture

When cooked, blend the mixture with an immersion blender until smooth.

  3. Sauté the Aromatics

In another saucepan, sauté the garlic, parsley, and onion in olive oil.

  4. Combine and Finish

Combine the contents of both pans and blend again to achieve a soft consistency. Mix in the leek and ginger, then add the tablespoon of cream cheese for extra creaminess. If desired, season with Jamaican/white/pink pepper. Serve.
