Ingredients for Stuffed Meatballs with Spinach
    Meatballs
  • 250 g ground beef (patinho moído)
  • 1 small red onion, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • to taste salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup oats (flocons de aveia)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • Sauce
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 4 medium Italian tomatoes, chopped (peeled and deseeded)
  • 1 tbsp biomass
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley
  • 1 sprig basil

    Preparation
  1. Make the Meatballs

    Soak the oats in coconut milk for 2 tablespoons. Drain well and mix with the ground beef. Combine all ingredients together with your hands until well mixed. Shape into balls and stuff with spinach.

  3. Prepare the Sauce

    In a non-stick pan, heat the oil and sauté the garlic and onion. Add the chopped tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and basil, and add a little water. Let the tomatoes soften, then add the meatballs to cook. Cover the pan and let simmer without stirring.
